Ms. Maria Delane is from Washington, USA and has background experience and knowledge as an academic researcher in social and health sciences. The scope of her research includes topics on America Civil Rights, social movements in the digital age, gun violence, and tobacco use disparities in low income communities. Ms. Delane is passionate about higher education and the pursuit of knowledge. At the United States Embassy in Tashkent, she has hosted a series of Chai Chat presentations on American culture. In addition, she has facilitated college writing workshops for Education USA, a network of over 400 international student advising centers in more than 170 countries. In her spare time, she is an aspiring screenwriter with special interests in poetry and creative writing.
Ms. Delane comes to the British Management University in Tashkent with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Global Issues from Washington State University, USA, as well as with a Master’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis on displaced populations from the University of Louisville, USA.
