Biography

Mr. Stephen Lin is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration, who teaches Entrepreneurship with a focus on practical applications, as well as Global Business.  He brings both practical and academic experience to his students, with over ten years’ experience in finance, entrepreneurship, and project management across multiple countries. Before joining BMU, Stephen most recently consulted for Envision (USA), a global greentech company.  He also has experience working in finance as a stock broker in Taiwan and being a startup founder in Singapore.

 

Mr. Lin’s academic experience includes launching an Entrepreneurship Centre at the Kazakh-British Technical University (Almaty, Kazakhstan), where he created a successful programme targeted to local needs. Stephen also served as a guest lecturer at Geneva Business School in Astana, the International Academy of Business, and Suleyman Demirel University (Kazakhstan).

 

Mr. Lin received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in International Management, as well as Bachelor’s degree in Political Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. He completed his graduate studies at the University of Southern California, USA, with a Master of Business Administration degree.
