Nora Gavalyan

Biography

Ms. Gavalyan is currently teaching modules on business communication and globalization to second year students. She has also taught a wide range of language modules and modules related to the development of critical and creative thinking. Her research interests include internationalization of education, higher education management, educational leadership, as well as transition pedagogy.

 

During her academic career at international universities in the city of Tashkent, she has accumulated an extensive management experience and was engaged in the development of individual modules and design of general education programs for first-year students. She was a course leader for many years and later served as a dean at a newly established university.

 

Ms. Gavalyan is a recipient of a prestigious Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarships. She holds Master’s Degree in Literature from Bowling Green University, OH, USA. She also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Study in Teaching and Learning from Westminster International University in Tashkent and a bachelor’s degree in English Philology from the Uzbek State World Languages University in Tashkent.
