Ms. Marie Harbon-Gruchelska comes from Nottingham, U.K., a city famous for Robin Hood and its lace industry. She has 15 years of teaching experience overall, including Further Education programmes in the U.K., and English as a Foreign Language in European countries such as Czechia, Slovakia, Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, and the Russian Federation. She has taught both young learners and adults in General, Business and Exam English, and has designed curricula and assessments for young learner classes. She has also begun to lead workshops for teachers.

Marie is passionate about Web 2.0 and other technologies in language learning, project-based learning, curriculum and assessment. She is also interested in research about different aspects of English as a Foreign Language.

Ms. Harbon-Gruchelska comes to the British Management University in Tashkent with a Postgraduate Diploma in TESOL & Applied Linguistics, DELTA Module 1, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a Trinity certTESOL, and a BA in Sports Studies.
