Mr. Azamat Nurmatov was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. His academic interests include human resource management, marketing and entrepreneurship. He taught Business Management modules at MDIST for many years. He has also launched several his own entrepreneurial projects in education sector and worked as a business consultant at National Bank of Uzbekistan.

 
He has also collaborated with EBRD on acceleration project for female entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan. He strives to make his lessons relevant and practical. Outside of work, his interests include travelling and learning new things.

 
Mr. Nurmatov received his BA in English Philology from Tashkent State World  Languages University  and his MBA from University of Sunderland. He also has Postgraduate Certificates in Teaching and Learning as well as Research Methods from Westminster University. Currently he is completing his PhD from Westminster international University in Tashkent.
