The BSc (Hons) in Management Information Systems with Business Analytics at British Management University in Tashkent (BMU) is designed for students who want to understand how technology and data transform modern business. The programme blends core principles of management information systems with advanced business analytics, preparing graduates to support organisations in making informed, data‑driven decisions.

Throughout the programme, students study a wide range of subjects that combine managerial concepts with analytical methods. They develop an understanding of how information systems operate, how data can be managed and visualised, and how predictive models and machine learning can be used to improve business outcomes. The curriculum places strong emphasis on practical application: students work on case studies, industry‑focused projects, and hands‑on exercises using widely adopted tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, and Excel.

In addition to technical expertise, students learn to bridge the gap between business professionals and technical specialists. They gain skills in project management, teamwork, and leadership, and learn how to communicate analytical insights effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Ethical, legal, and security aspects of working with data are integrated into the programme, ensuring graduates are prepared to make responsible and sustainable decisions in their professional practice.

The final year culminates in a capstone project where students apply their knowledge to a real‑world business problem. This project allows them to demonstrate their ability to design and implement innovative analytical solutions that address complex organisational challenges.

Graduates of this programme are well‑equipped for careers as business analysts, data analysts, consultants, or information systems specialists. They are also prepared for professional certifications or postgraduate study in business analytics and related fields, entering the job market with logical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and a strong understanding of data‑driven business practices valued by employers worldwide.
