On June 23, emlyon business school Asia Campus officially welcomed a delegation from Uzbekistan British Management University in Tashkent, marking the launch of the International Summer Immersion Program—a journey that blends academic exchange with rich cultural exploration.

 

The emlyon International Summer Immersion Programme was held from June 23 to June 28. During the programme, BMU students attended lectures related to artificial intelligence, China business practices and etiquette, social media and marketing in China and, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). BMU delegation also toured sites of cultural and historical importance in Shanghai such as the Shanghai Tower, Yu Gardens, Cheng Huang Miao Temple, Nanjing Road walking street and the Bund. They also visited a leading Innovation company in Shanghai – neoBay.


Upon successful completion, students received certificates of participation from emlyon business school Asia, marking an important milestone in their international academic journey.


The programme commenced with a high-level meeting focused on advancing strategic cooperation between the two institutions. The discussion brought together distinguished representatives:

The meeting concluded with a Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony, outlining a five-year commitment to collaborative efforts in education, research, and student exchange. As a symbol of goodwill and shared vision, Dean Wang and Acting Rector Loktionov exchanged commemorative gifts — highlighting not only strategic alignment but also cultural connection.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in both institutions’ internationalisation strategies and reaffirms their shared dedication to preparing globally minded leaders.
