Student Activities

BMU and its Students’ Union organize different events and competitions during the academic year. Some students organize competitions between themselves and other universities, so each student of the BMU can establish and develop their club and activities.

Some popular activities here include “Tashkent Toastmasters”, Chess competitions, Model United Nations, Football, Ping-pong, Debate Club, Creative Writing & Poetry Club, “Squid Game”, etc. Students develop these kinds of events step by step with the help of other volunteers and expand their number by adding additional students. All the clubs and activities are free of charge, including joining a club or creating your own. We wish you the best of luck with your future club activities!

Tashkent Toastmasters

Welcome to Tashkent Toastmasters Club. Set in the heart of Tashkent at the British Management University, our club has been established with the purpose of providing a supportive and positive learning experience to develop public speaking, communication and self-initiative. The majority of our members speak English as a Second Language and want to be part of a learn-by-doing practice. Speakers are encouraged to explore their ideas and find their own voice while delivering speeches. Similarly, opportunities for reflective listening and clarity of speaking are facilitated through the evaluations and impromptu talks. Our club welcomes visitors from a range of professions and experiences who wish to build their network base and engage in personal development.
