Dr. Abdurasul Abdurakhmanov is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at British Management University, bringing over two decades of international academic and professional experience to his teaching. He holds a PhD in Quantitative Economics from Christian Albrechts University in Kiel, Germany, and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

His teaching is informed by a rich career that spans roles in government, international trade, and private sector finance, including positions at the Ministry of Economy of Uzbekistan and the Representative Office of Honeywell. Dr. Abdurakhmanov has lectured at multiple universities in Uzbekistan and is a recipient of prestigious academic scholarships from both the DAAD and the “Umid” Foundation. His academic interests lie in macroeconomics, economic modeling, and project-based learning.
