Dr. Umarov served as an official Program Evaluator on behalf of ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) for the review of a Computer Science program at a public university in Saudi Arabia. ABET is globally recognized as one of the most prestigious accreditation bodies in applied sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. Worldwide, ABET accreditation is widely regarded as a hallmark of academic excellence and international credibility.
This visit forms part of Dr. Umarov’s broader international engagement as an ABET Program Evaluator.Serving in this capacity requires comprehensive documentation analysis, validation of assessment systems, meetings with leadership and faculty, laboratory inspections, and confirmation that sustainable continuous improvement mechanisms are embedded in academic practice.
