A secondary school diploma or its equivalent and the academic transcript, if available.
IELTS CERTIFICATE 5.5 with no component less than 5.0 or an equivalent (TOEFL 46)
If you do NOT have IELTS CERTIFICATE 5.5, you will need to pass the BMU English Exam.
Tuition Fees
Local students: 37,000,000 UZS (can be paid in 2 installments)
Early bird discount: 2,000,000 UZS (if contract signed before May 1st)
Foreign Students: 3500 USD per year.
Grants
Grants covering 20%-100% of tuition fees will be awarded to three categories of applicants:
3. 100% BMU Social Grants are provided to top 20 outstanding applicants, who come from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. The applicants must provide all relevant documents confirming their social status and satisfy the following minimum criteria:
Social and academic grants covering 100% of tuition fees will be awarded to the applicants who have the highest combined score.
An application for a BMU Social Grant or a BMU Academic Grant can be submitted ONLY after the applicant has received an Offer Letter from the University.
STEP 1: Have your IDENTIFICATION CARD/PASSPORT ready.
STEP 2: Go to www.bmu-edu.uz and start your application by clicking on «Apply Now» button to create a personal account and to fill in an online application form.
STEP 3. There are two options:
1. Schedule the off-line BMU English Exam by choosing exam date in our online calendar (Information on exam procedure will be sent when you choose a date)
2. If you pass the BMU English Exam, you will receive an official letter by email to your personal account within 10 working days

1. BMU Admission team will contact you to schedule an off-line BMU Maths Exam and an online Speaking Test. (Information on exam procedure will be sent when you choose a date)
2. If you succeed in your application, you will receive an official letter by email to your personal account within 10 working days
BMU offers up to 20 full scholarships per year for candidates who come from disadvantaged background.
1.Candidates for social grants MUST have accepted the offer from the University and should have a minimum IELTS of 6.0 (TOEFL 60 or BMU Exam = B). Details of how to apply and who is eligible can be found here. HYPERLINK
Use e-mail admissions@bmu-edu.uz to request for a sample document confirming the financial status of the family The reference must be issued by the Makhalla Committee at the place of residence of the applicant. The reference should be addressed to BMU Rector, include the phone numbers of the mahalla chairperson, and confirm that the applicant belongs to one of the following categories:
3. Arrive at BMU campus 30 minutes before your designated time with 1) your PASSPORT/ IDENTIFICATION CARD to take the BMU Maths Exam.
4. Provide BMU Admission committee your own essay in English on the topic «Why do I deserve to receive a BMU Grant?»
5. Pass a Zoom interview with one of BMU Academic staff. You will be notified of the University’s admission decision (100% social grant) within 10 working days.
