Daniil Osipov Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Daniil Osipov is an academic with teaching and research experience in the fields of corporate finance, risk management, financial institutions, and business valuation. He has delivered executive training to corporate clients and entrepreneurs on multiple occasions, including seminars on offshore investments and the valuation of oil companies and real options.  Dr. Osipov also served as an external expert on Kazakhstan’s financial system at the Birmingham Crown Court, Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts (U.K.).

 

Previously, Dr. Osipov worked as Assistant Professor of Finance at the International School of Economics at the Kazakh-British Technical University, a joint project with the London School of Economics and Political Science (U.K.) as well as in the MBA Programme, where he taught Corporate Finance, International Financial Institutions, and other finance-related modules. Dr. Osipov also worked as Market Data Analyst in metal trading at Comtech (Russia), and as Securities Data Expert at the Bank of Austria Group (Russia).

 

Dr. Osipov received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from Moscow State University (Russia), his Master’s degree in Financial Management from Moscow State University (Russia), and his Ph.D. degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in Finance) from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota (USA).
