Biography

Mr. Darek Zygadlo is a Business Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration. He teaches Introduction to Business and Management and the HRM modules.

 

In addition to 10-years of experience in marketing and creative agencies in Canada and the USA, Darek has experience teaching in multiple countries. Before joining BMU, he taught at the Financial Academy in Nur-Sultan, and designed and delivered executive training programs to high-potential employees with Tengizchevroil in Kazakhstan.  Darek also taught on the NCUK International Foundation and International Year One programmes in Uzbekistan and Algeria. In addition, he has trained and prepared local English and STEM teachers for the Cambridge TKT examinations in Kazakhstan. His current research interests are international marketing and globalisation, and emotional labour in organisations.

 

Mr. Zygadlo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and HRM from Paul J. Hill School of Business (Regina, SK, Canada), postgraduate diplomas in Strategic Management & Leadership and in Educational Management and Leadership, as well as a CELTA (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) qualification from the University of Cambridge. He is currently completing the Global MBA programme at the University of Dundee.
