Biography

Dr. Yuri Loktionov has acquired extensive experience and expertise at the intersection of university management, finance and international consulting in USA, China, Russia, and Kazakhstan. He has led many successful projects for universities across the globe of receiving international accreditations or recognitions from such organisations as the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs; the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute; Harvard University’s Microeconomics of Competitiveness Network, etc. Dr. Loktionov also worked as Vice President at the Kazakh-British Technical University (Kazakhstan), where he supervised all social science programmes and was responsible for internationalisation activities at the university.

 

During his academic career, Dr. Loktionov worked as Professor of Finance at the Kazakh-British Technical University (Kazakhstan), Visiting Professor at Beijing Foreign Studies University (China), Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California (USA). His areas of academic expertise include financial statement analysis, business valuation and investment risk assessment. His teaching portfolio includes various courses in finance and accounting, such as Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Valuation, International Finance, and Wealth Management.

 

Dr. Loktionov has received his Ph.D. degree in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management (USA), Master’s degree in Finance from Boston College (USA), and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from William Jewell College (USA). He has been awarded a CFA designation (Chartered Financial Analyst).
