BMU is inviting applications for the position of Junior Lecturer in Accounting to join our diverse and growing academic team. This is an entry-level academic role, ideal for recent MSc/MA graduates who are passionate about building a career in academia.

• Deliver undergraduate modules in accounting, such as introduction to accounting and financial accounting;

• Contribute to assessment activities through the design and marking of coursework, exams, and presentations, and provide constructive feedback to students.

• Support senior faculty in developing high-quality teaching and assessment materials aligned with international standards.

• Engage in personal and professional development aimed at enhancing teaching and research excellence.

• Participate in university-wide academic initiatives and strategic projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.

• A Master’s degree in accounting/finance or a closely related discipline.

• ACCA or other professional qualifications are preferred. 

• Professional or teaching background in accounting/finance in HE institutions is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
