General Postgraduate Requirements

Applicants must satisfy the following criteria for admission:

  • Academic Background: A Bachelor’s honours degree in a related subject area from BMU or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.

  • Recency of Qualification: The degree should normally have been completed within the last five (5) years. Applicants with older qualifications may need to provide evidence of continued professional or academic engagement.

  • Mandatory Assessment: All applicants must attend an entrance interview with the Programme Team as part of the selection process.

 

English Language Requirement

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following:

  • Standard Entry: An IELTS score of 6.5 overall (with no individual component below 6.0) or an approved equivalent test score.

  • English-Medium Exemption: Evidence that a prior degree was taught and assessed entirely in English may be accepted as proof of proficiency.

  • Internal Pathway: Where approved by the Admissions Committee, an internal English language assessment may be used as a supplementary pathway.

 

Non-Standard Entry & Professional Experience

Applicants who do not meet standard criteria may be considered based on individual merit:

  • Holistic Review: The Admissions Committee evaluates alternative qualifications, professional achievements, and relevant work experience.

  • Executive Programmes: For the Executive MBA and others, significant weight is given to exceptional professional achievements, senior leadership experience, or an entrepreneurial track record.

 

Regulatory Compliance (Language Certificates)

In accordance with national decrees (PF-5117 and PQ-81):

  • Mandatory Certification: All Master’s graduates must hold a valid national or international foreign language proficiency certificate.

  • Conditional Enrolment: Applicants admitted based on prior English-medium education can enrol without a certificate but must submit one before programme completion to receive their diploma.

 

Required Documents

  • Identity Documents: Valid passport, ID card, or birth certificate.

  • Digital Photo: Size 3 × 4 cm, colour, on a plain light background.

  • Academic Records: Bachelor’s degree certificate and full official transcripts.

  • Professional Evidence: (If applicable) CV or portfolio showing professional engagement, especially for non-standard entry or older degrees.

  • Proof of English Level: Valid IELTS 6.5 certificate or equivalent.

 

Grants

Discounted tuition fees are available for candidates with IELTS 7.0 / BMU alumni / corporate partners. Additional 5% can be saved by paying the whole amount before the Programme starts.
