Alisher Khasanov is an experienced educator and consultant with a strong background in business strategy, corporate governance, and higher education management. He joined the British Management University in Tashkent as a Senior Lecturer in Social Studies in 2023, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules including Capstone Project, Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy and Leadership, and Communication for Managers.
Previously, Dr. Khasanov held prominent academic and administrative roles, such as Deputy Rector for International Collaboration at Tashkent State Agrarian University and Rector at TEAM University, Uzbekistan’s first private entrepreneurial university. He has also worked as a Principal Lecturer and Deputy Rector for Finance at Westminster International University in Tashkent. His professional career includes over a decade in logistics as the Country Manager for UPS Worldwide Delivery Service in Uzbekistan, and risk consulting at KPMG.
Dr. Khasanov’s academic research focuses on governance in higher education, particularly the transition of state universities to autonomous governance models. He is actively involved in consultancy projects on organizational transformation, corporate governance, and strategic development in emerging markets.Dr. Khasanov’s teaching portfolio spans modules in strategic management, leadership, and innovation, as well as supervising undergraduate and postgraduate projects. With extensive experience in academic leadership and consulting, he is committed to fostering student success and advancing educational excellence.
