Dr. John Jinkner is an accomplished business and education professional with extensive experience in academia, logistics, and international program development. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Marketing from Jacksonville University, an MBA in Management, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Management and Transportation & Logistics from the University of North Florida.

 

For over two decades, he has served in leadership and teaching roles across universities in the United States, China, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. At Webster University’s Tashkent campus, he directed operations for a 3,000-student international partnership, supervised faculty programs, and received multiple Faculty Excellence awards. He has also lectured at Harvard Business School, Jacksonville University, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Savannah State University, Anhui University, and the OSCE Academy, teaching subjects ranging from supply chain management and marketing to business strategy and governance simulations.

 

Alongside academia, Dr. John Jinkner brings deep industry expertise from a 20-year career at CSX Transportation, where he managed pricing strategies influencing billions in annual revenue, and led major rail freight projects recognized with Chairman’s Awards of Excellence. He continues to consult globally on rail, logistics, and international business development, with successful track records in multimillion-dollar grants and strategic industry studies.

 

He has published research on rail pricing, international trade, and risk management, and has presented at leading conferences worldwide. His teaching, consulting, and leadership work reflect a strong commitment to innovation in business education, global collaboration, and the practical application of strategy and logistics expertise.
