Christian Capone is a dedicated academic and professional with a strong background in Project and Program Management, currently serving as University Registrar and professor at British Management University in Tashkent. With certifications such as the PMP from PMI and extensive experience across multiple educational institutions in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Italy, he brings a global perspective to the classroom. He has over 30 years of professional experience as a project manager in the field of Information Technology, where he has successfully led complex projects and implemented innovative solutions across diverse industries. His expertise spans project management, operations management, and supply chain management, with a focus on bridging theoretical foundations with practical applications. He is also pursuing a PhD in Project Management, where his research aligns with his commitment to advancing knowledge in this dynamic field.
Throughout his career, Mr. Capone has been passionate about delivering world-class education to his students, combining rigorous academic standards with real-world relevance. He has a particular interest in designing innovative courses, such as “Logistics Solutions,” which explore cutting-edge topics like demand forecasting, sustainable logistics, and risk management. His professional philosophy emphasizes the integration of practical problem-solving skills and critical thinking to prepare students for leadership roles in an increasingly complex global environment.
Recently, Mr. Capone was appointed by PMI as a Global Accreditation Center (GAC) member to conduct onsite visits assessing universities and business applications for PMI accreditations. This role allows him to contribute to shaping the quality standards of project management education globally, further reinforcing his dedication to advancing the profession and fostering excellence in the field.
