Dr. Ekaterina Khodosova has acquired extensive academic and industry experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, and financial management. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at leading universities in Uzbekistan, including Tashkent State University of Economics, Almaty Management University (Tashkent), and the Graduate School of Business under the Cabinet of Ministers. Her teaching portfolio includes Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Evaluation, Business Statistics for MBA, and Corporate Management.
Prior to her academic career, Ekaterina worked as a Senior Economist at Gazprom (Russia), where she contributed to major international energy infrastructure projects such as Nord Stream, Power of Siberia, and LNG developments. She specialized in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment appraisal, budgeting, and financial modeling. Earlier, she served as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovation in Saint Petersburg, focusing on infrastructure investment and economic analysis.
In addition to her academic and corporate roles, Ekaterina has consulting experience across energy, agriculture, and private sectors. She has developed financial models, budgeting systems, and forecasting tools to support strategic decision-making and enhance organizational performance.
Her research interests include corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and investment evaluation. She has participated in academic conferences, contributed to thesis supervision, and supported the development of educational programs. As an educator, Ekaterina emphasizes practical, application-oriented teaching, combining financial theory with real-world case studies to strengthen students’ analytical and professional skills.
Dr. Khodosova has received her Ph.D. degree and master’s degree in economics in Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).
