Faculty members of British Management University — Zarina Fayazova and Saidova Markhabo — were officially invited to the Western China (Chongqing) Research Institute on Academia–Industry Integration to take part in an international professional development programme focused on academia–industry collaboration and innovation in higher education.
The programme, held in Chongqing, brought together academics from various countries to explore advanced approaches to teaching and learning in the era of artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
During the intensive training, BMU professors studied innovative teaching methodologies based on AI integration in higher education. The programme covered modern applications of generative AI in the classroom, the development of AI-supported lesson plans and assessment systems, and the design of digital learning environments. Participants also engaged in practical workshops dedicated to implementing new pedagogical solutions aligned with global educational trends.
In addition to the academic sessions, the programme included visits to leading universities in Chongqing, professional exchange with international faculty members, and collaborative work on educational projects aimed at introducing innovative teaching practices.
The knowledge and experience gained through this international engagement will enable BMU to further integrate advanced technologies and forward-thinking methodologies into its academic process, enhancing educational quality and expanding learning opportunities for students.
