On 29 April 2026, a senior management delegation from British Management University (BMU) traveled to London, UK, to attend the University of London Recognised Teaching Centres Symposium. The delegation featured key university leaders, including Rector Yuri Loktionov, Deputy Rector for Postgraduate Programmes and Internationalisation Lionel Henderson, and Registrar Christian Capone.
The Symposium served as a premier global forum, bringing together the University of London and its worldwide community of Recognised Teaching Centres. Through a sophisticated program of panel discussions and networking sessions, the event addressed the evolving landscape of international education, focusing on several critical pillars:
BMU is currently in the final stages of becoming a University of London Recognised Teaching Centre. This prospective partnership is a cornerstone of our internationalisation strategy. Once finalized, it will provide students in Uzbekistan with unprecedented access to a portfolio of world-class UK higher education qualifications, combining the prestige of the University of London with BMU’s local expertise.
For the BMU student body and staff, our participation in this Symposium is a testament to our dedication to international cooperation. We are committed to expanding access to globally recognized educational pathways that are carefully aligned with the specific needs of our region.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the University of London for the invitation and the invaluable opportunity to engage with esteemed colleagues from across their global network. Together, we are building a borderless future for academic excellence.
