On January 17–18, 2026, British Management University hosted BMU Model United Nations 2026, bringing together young leaders passionate about diplomacy, global issues, and international cooperation.
The conference gathered over 100 carefully selected delegates in 8 committees, alongside 25 best DIAS members and the support of 30 dedicated volunteers, creating a dynamic and professional environment throughout the two days.
BMU MUN 2026 officially commenced with an Opening Ceremony, which set the tone for the conference. The ceremony was honoured by the presence of distinguished speakers and guests, including Rector of British Management University- Yuri Loktionov, Head of the UN Information Office- Anvar Meliboev, and UNDP Project Manager in the Inclusive and Democratic Governance Unit- Khursana Usmanova. Their welcoming remarks emphasized the importance of youth engagement, diplomacy, and inclusive dialogue in addressing global challenges.
Following the opening, delegates took part in intensive committee sessions, engaging in debates, negotiations, and resolution drafting. Throughout the conference, participants demonstrated strong critical thinking, public speaking skills, and a deep understanding of international affairs, reflecting the high academic and organizational standards of BMU MUN.
BMU MUN 2026 once again confirmed BMU’s commitment to fostering leadership, global awareness, and meaningful student initiatives, leaving participants inspired and motivated to continue their journey in diplomacy and international relations.
